Roberto Silva Waack (CEO)

Roberto S. Waack holds a Bachelor in Biological Sciences and has Master Degree in Business Administration and Economics at University of São Paulo (USP). He has 25 years experience in the business and forestry sector and worked in the pharmaceutical sector for more than 10 years. Roberto Waack was the founder and former CEO of Orsa Florestal, one of the largest certified natural forest project in Brazil with over 500,000 hectares. He is also Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC), being currently the president. Is also membership of many organizations related to forestry and sustainability.

Dario Guarita Neto (CFO)

Dario Guarita Neto graduated in Business Administration at Fundação Armando Álvares Penteado (FAAP) and worked, among other areas, in the strategic consultancy and corporate restructuring at investment banks. He worked for eight years as portfolio manager and board member of Belgravia Family Office. Dario G. Neto is also in the Board of Trustees Member of Maria Cecilia Foundation.

Gilmar Bertoloti (COO)

Gilmar Bertoloti has a degree in Forestry Engineering at University of São Paulo (USP) and Master of Business Administration at “Fundação Dom Brasil”. He is AMATA’s operational planning and manager. Gilmar was the former Vice President of the Administration Board of Instituto de Pesquisas Florestais (IPEF). Also former Technical Member at organizations such as SBS, Silviconsult, Bracelpa, Ibama, Sema and Crea. Has long experience in implementation of FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) and ISO 14001 certifications.

Etel Carmona

Etel Carmona is one of the pioneers in the production of FSC certified processed wood in Brazil. She has over 20 years experience in the design and processing of highest quality wood. Etel conducts its business worldwide. Her design store has point sales in Dusseldorf, Zurich, Lisbon, Los Angeles and New York.

Luciano Budant Schaaf

Luciano Schaaf is a Forest Engineer and Master in Forest Science emphasis in Forest Management, both at Federal University of Paraná (UFPR). Luciano work at Amata as planning and technology manager. Worked at Orsa Florestal as Planning, Control and Technology manager, and at Silviconsult Engenharia as Consultancy Coordinator.

Alexsandro Martins Holanda

Alexsandro Holanda graduated in Economics at Pontificia Universidade Católica (PUC) and MBA in Corporate Finance at Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV). Experience as Finance, Planning and Administrative manager at Amata, Tempo Participações and Contax. Has also experience as a project controller at Unisys, among other experiences as finance analyst.
